Biography
I was born and raised in Federal Way and come from a large family. I am Mexican American, a first-generation college graduate and am fluent in both English and Spanish. I love my culture and traditions but also love learning about other cultures. I am passionate about social justice and equity and strongly believe that higher education can be the key to changing one's life. Being a first-generation college student was a challenging experience for me because I did not know what questions to ask and was too shy to ask the questions I did have. Because of this, I make it a goal when working with students to help them envision their future and get started to meet their end goal!
