Mission

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) champions diversity, equity, and inclusion principles to create an inclusive and accessible environment, fostering intellectual discourse, diverse leadership, and social justice within our institution and its surrounding communities.

We aim to empower, enhance, educate, encourage, and engage our diverse populations to have ownership of their narratives and to succeed in their educational journeys.

ODEI Program

You may be eligible for the ODEI Program if you are a Green River College student who is pursuing any degree or certificate program, AND: 
  • Meet one or more of these requirements:
    • first generation - neither birth or adoptive parent earned a bachelors degree or higher, OR
    • underrepresented or minority population/background OR
    • low-income based on federal guidelines OR 
    • experiencing financial circumstances that impact your success at Green River

If any of these apply to you, become an ODEI Student!

How Do I Apply?

1. Go to Navigate360 and log in as a student
2. Open the "Surveys" tab
3. Find the "Universal Entry Survey" and complete it. This is your application to our program.
 
You will recieve an email from diversity@greenriver.edu about your application.
 
Once approved, you may start using any of our services, including Book Loan Program, Peer Mentoring, and more!
