Are you worried about the health and safety of a student? Are you witnessing a student experiencing mental, emotional, or personal struggles? Report any behavior that causes you concern or may make others feel unsafe, even if you are not sure or just want the information to be documented.

Student Code of Conduct

Use this form to report a violation of the Student Code of Conduct, including disruptive behavior.

If the incident you are reporting involves any behavior of a threatening nature and you have a safety concern, contact Campus Safety immediately at 253-288-3350.

Disruptive Behavior

Disruptive behavior (actions that inhibit a faculty/staff member's ability to conduct class or limits another student's ability to fully access the educational benefits Green River College has to offer) is prohibited in or out of a classroom setting. Both students and employees can report disruptive behavior.

Report Sexual Misconduct, which includes sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking behaviors.

Unlawful Harassment, Discrimination, or Retaliation

Report unlawful harassment and discrimination, which are behaviors based on someone's affiliation with a protected class (race, religion, gender, etc.) that is so pervasive, persistent, or severe that it would prevent a reasonable person from taking advantage of the educational or employment opportunities Green River College has to offer.

Campus Security Authority

College employees who are responsible for student and campus activities may be designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). A CSA must report Clery Act Qualifying Crimes (which are listed here).

  • Note: Reports are routed to the Green River College's Clery Compliance Officer.

What Happens After I Make a Report?

All of us at Green River College care about your experiences at the college. Once you submit your report, the appropriate staff member will review your report during normal business hours by relevant staff members, who will assess, respond, and act as appropriate. In some cases, a more in-depth analysis may occur before next steps can take place.

If you report a concern, please be prepared to share:

  • Your contact information;
  • Name/any known information about the situation or person, including ID number if possible;
  • Summary of the observed behavior, concern, or the situation, including when and where it occurred. Be specific, objective, and descriptive;
  • Day/time/location;
  • Other information you believe may be important.

Note: We welcome anonymous reports, however, responses to anonymous reports may be limited.
