How to Prepare for Advising Day:

  1. Review course descriptions & prerequisites in the Green River Catalog
    • Transfer Degrees for students interested in transferring to a 4-year institution or university
    • Career & Technical Programs for students interested in certificates, 2-year associate degrees, or Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degrees
  2. Search Course Availability in the current class schedule
  3. Bring the following to Advising Day:
    • Your list of questions and concerns
    • Tentative Class Schedule
    • Note-taking method of choice
    • For Transfer Students
      • A list of questions for University Representatives
      • Universities of Interest
      • Intended University Major (if applicable)

Winter Advising Day is Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026 from 12pm - 5pm (virtual in CAC Virtual Lobby). If you are looking for your faculty advisor, reach out to them directly.

Students can participate the following ways:

  • VIRTUAL ONLY in the Career and Advising Virtual Assistant Lobby. CAC Virtual Lobby
  • Students who would like to meet with their Faculty Advisor will want to email their Faculty Advisor for availability.
  • Students in Running Start and International Programs should connect with their respective advisors directly.
