Internships

Provide students with part-time or full-time work experience throughout the academic year or hire them into a summer internship.

  • Commitment: 20-40 hours per week

Job opportunities

Share openings for entry or junior-level positions at your company or in your professional network with graduating seniors through email or in-person recruitment events.

  • Commitment: flexible

Attend a project showcase or student presentation

Provide product feedback and suggestions to students when they present their project work in class.

  • Commitment: 1-2 hours

Guest speaking

Visit students in class to share your passion and expertise, or become a guest speaker at our south king web & mobile developer meetup.

  • Commitment: 1-2 hours

Scholarship donations

Your tax-deductible financial contributions to the Green River Foundation give deserving students opportunities to enter a career in software development that would otherwise be out of reach.  

  • Commitment: flexible

Become an adjunct instructor

We have an ongoing need for part-time programming instructors who have a passion for coaching students to success. If you're working in the software space and would like to inquire about part-time teach opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Commitment: 10-15 hours per week for 3 months

Provide input on the curriculum

Participate in curriculum review events with teaching faculty to help shape the skillset of future employees.

  • Commitment: Flexible

Be a client

Provide a software development project for a team of students, and meet with your team regularly to provide feedback on their work.

  • Commitment: 1-2 hours per week for 3 or 6 months

Job shadow

Allow a student to shadow you at work to learn about what you do and what your day is like.

  • Commitment: 4-8 hours
