LSAMP at Green River College
The Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program at Green River College is committed to supporting underrepresented minority students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), our program provides a comprehensive network of support services, resources, and opportunities to help students succeed in their academic and professional endeavors.
Who Qualifies for the LSAMP Program?
The LSAMP program focuses on historically underrepresented minority students who identify as African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Native Pacific Islander, who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM fields. Students must also be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Why Should You Become an LSAMP Scholar?
LSAMP Scholars receive stipends and financial support to alleviate barriers to success. LSAMP at Green River College (GRC-LSAMP) also offers a wide range of programs and services, including:

- Networking and mentoring opportunities
- Research experiences and internships
