The Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program at Green River College is committed to supporting underrepresented minority students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), our program provides a comprehensive network of support services, resources, and opportunities to help students succeed in their academic and professional endeavors

At Green River College, we are proud to be part of the LSAMP Puget Sound Alliance, which aims to broaden the participation of underrepresented minority students in STEM disciplines. Our program is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, empowering students to achieve their full potential and pursue successful careers in STEM. 

Who Qualifies for the LSAMP Program?

The LSAMP program focuses on historically underrepresented minority students in who identify as African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Native Pacific Islander, who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM fields.

Why Should You Become an LSAMP Scholar?

LSAMP Scholars receive scholarships and financial support to alleviate barriers to success. LSAMP at Green River College also offers a wide range of programs and services, including:
