Share a bit about yourself and what you have been up to since you left Green River.
After transferring to the University of Washington Tacoma, I pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering and took on several leadership roles. I served as a Coordinator at the University Y Student Center, managing events and supporting the student community. I also worked as a research assistant, exploring how concept mapping can improve the teaching of complex engineering concepts. Additionally, I served as a Peer Career Coach, assisting students with career development and readiness. A key highlight of my journey was participating in the NASA Mission Concept Academy, where I gained hands-on experience in space mission design, working on a mock mission to the poles of Mars. During this time, I also interned at Macdonald Miller Facility Solutions, later transitioning into a full-time role. These experiences have significantly contributed to my professional and personal growth, building on the foundation I established at Green River.
