The TRiO program is administered by the Department of Education who requires that we have income information for every participant. Green River College's TRiO department uses a self-report form to collect this information. This form is required, along with the program application, to determine eligibility. Applications will not be reviewed until both parts have been completed.
Use the link below to complete a short form selecting dependency status and inputting email address(es). Generally students under the age of 24 are considered dependent, however there are exceptions to this. Please visit the Student Aid Dependency Status website to learn about the exceptions and use their form to determine your status.
Dependent students will need to report their parent or guardian's information and will be asked for their email address as well as their parent/guardian's. Independent students only need to provide their household information.
Once the form is submitted, an email will be sent from TRiO Student Support Services via Adobe Acrobat Sign with a link to complete the appropriate Income Verification Statement. Once all signatures are complete each signer will receive a copy of the form and it will automatically be submitted to the TRiO department for processing.
