Associate in Arts-DTA with Concentration in Music
The Music Concentration gives students an opportunity to pursue musical arts with a focus on performance, music theory, and/or music history. The Music Concentration complements a student’s major area of study, creates a pathway for a student who wants to explore music, or is for the student who already knows they have a general interest in music.

Career Outlook

An Associate of Arts (AA) with a concentration in Music can lead to many fun and creative careers. You could become a performer, music teacher, composer, or work in sound and music production. Some students go on to work in recording studios, theaters, or with music apps and video games.

You'll learn how to read music, understand music theory, perform, and use music technology. These skills can also help you transfer to a four-year college to keep studying music. Whether you want to play, teach, or work behind the scenes, a music degree helps you turn your love for music into a career.
