Max Burnham
Assistant Director of International Student Advising
After receiving his Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington, Max traveled to Washington DC to serve for two years as an Americorps member in DC public schools. He then transitioned into the wide world of international exchange at IREX, where he helped run a Fulbright program for U.S. teachers to develop their understanding of different cultures and education systems. He was lucky enough to develop and lead trips to both Colombia and Peru.
Max returned to the Seattle area in 2018 and has spent the past several years managing international exchange programs for U.S. and international high-school students. Max recently completed his Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University and is very excited to join the amazing International Programs team at Green River to support the growth and development of international students.
In his free time, Max enjoys exploring new campgrounds, shooting hoops, and watching the British Bakeoff on rainy days.
