Elizabeth Longo
Intensive English Instructor
Elizabeth has a BA in Modern Languages from Durham University and an MA from Birmingham University, both in the U.K. She has been teaching English for 25 years, 9 of which she spent in South Korea at various institutions, including two universities. For the past 16 years, she has been at GRC in the IEP program, where she has taught all levels but mostly Levels 4 and 5. Teaching students from all over the world is a chance to connect to other cultures daily; she learns just as much as she teaches. Elizabeth speaks Korean and Spanish and has studied Russian and Portuguese as well. Traveling the world is one of her passions; she has been all over Europe, South Korea, Japan, Canada, and Mexico. The remainder of her free time is spent reading, doing water aerobics, walking, and drinking lots of coffee with friends and family.
