International Education Week
What is International Educaton Week?
We're excited to celebrate International Education Week (IEW) this year, November 16-20, 2026 with a full calendar of events! IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. International education is all about expanding horizons, making connections, and establishing mutual understanding between people in the United States and other countries. IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that's celebrated each year by individuals and institutions across the U.S.
Green River College will have a full week of programming open to GRC students, faculty, and staff to explore languages and cultures new to you and discover all the opportunities international education offers. Check back here at the beginning of November for the full calendar of events. Please email IPadvising@greenriver.edu with any questions about IEW at Green River.
