Carpooling at Green River

We like people to carpool to campus. In fact, we like it so much that we've reserved parking spaces for people who do.

To qualify for carpool parking, a vehicle must have two or more people and must have a visible valid day permit picked up from one of the Entrance Booths daily.

Please make sure the date of the permit is visible on your dashboard.

Obtain a Permit

A carpool permit must be picked up each day from one of the Entrance Booths in order for you to park in carpool parking.

To qualify, you must have two or more people in your car when you pick up the pass.

Carpool parking spaces are reserved from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. any day the college is open for regular business.

Locations

Carpool parking spaces designated by a white curb with signs on either end of the row are reserved as carpool spaces from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. any day the college is open for regular business. Carpool parking spaces are not guaranteed. People with a valid state-issued disability permit may park in carpool parking without a carpool parking pass.

Vehicle Registration

We encourage everyone to register their vehicle with Campus Safety. This allows Campus Safety to quickly identify your vehicle in case of an emergency.

To register your vehicle, you'll need to complete a short Vehicle Registration form at the Welcome Center, the Cashier's Office or Campus Safety. The form requires:

  • Your name
  • Your license plate number
  • Your student ID number
  • Your address
  • Your phone number
  • The information provided will be kept confidential and will not be shared.
