Using VA Benefits

If you are using VA benefits to pay for college, be sure you have completed all the required steps as outlined on our Getting Started page.

After you have completed your intake process with our VA School Certifying Official, you must complete and submit your Quarterly Enrollment Request (QER) to Canvas. We strongly encourage students to meet with our Educational Planner to ensure the classes you want to complete are required for graduation and can be certified for benefits.

You must request certification every quarter to receive your benefits as it will not start automatically. To ensure timely processing, your QER Certification should be submitted to the Veteran Services Canvas upon registration for classes for the next quarter.
