Spring Quarter 2023

15 college credits

This program in is a wonderful opportunity to live and study in the heart of Italy and experience some of the most significant historical and architectural treasures of Italy and the world. Walk daily though the cobble-stoned streets lined with palaces and churches built by the architectural geniuses of the Middle ages and the Renaissance. View sculptures adorning outdoor walls and standing in the loggias of the grand piazzas. Experience continental life with the Romans as you enjoy cappuccino and Panini in the street cafes.

Academic Program:
This is a study program. Students must carry a 15-credit load and are expected to fully participate in all class activities. Three courses will be offered, and vary from year to year. The 2023 course offerings will be announced in June 2022.

Application Requirements:
Students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher are eligible to apply.  

 

Dates and Deadlines

Program Dates: March 31, 2023 - May 26, 2023

Application Deadline: Wednesday, January 3, 2023

Deposit Deadline: January 4, 2023 ($450)

Early Bird Deadline: Apply by Friday, October 28, 2022 & save $100!

Balance of Program Fees Due: Friday, February 3, 2023

 

Costs

Program Fee: $5,795 (a $450 desosit will be due by January 4 and is deducted from the program fee). 

*This is the price for 20-24 enrolled students. If the program only enrolls 15-19 students, the program fee will increase to $6,245.

Tuition: $1,490 (GRC student rate)

Airfare: $1,200 (estimate). There is no group flight option. Students must purchase their own flights. We will provide access to a discounted flight portal which is optional to use. 

Books & Supplies: $200 (estimate)

Additional Costs: $950 (for food, transportation, laundry and incidentals. Extra activities or personal travel not included.)

 

COVID-19 Update:

All students should expect to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate.

As of 4/21/22, Italy is open to tourism and GRC is allowing student travel to Italy.
