Requesting credits and eligible programs at Green River

CTE Dual Credit is a wonderful opportunity for students to begin preparation for a future career. Benefits include:

  • Saving time & tuition dollars by fulfilling college degree or certificate requirements while in high school
  • Earn college credit for high school classes that lead to careers and programs of study with opportunities beyond high school
  • Get proof of what you've learned on a college transcript - skills to be productive & successful in the world of work
  • May qualify you for more scholarships
  • May increase the value of your college or job applications

Students have four years from date of course completion to request transcription. Courses eligible for CTE Dual Credit transcription will have a 'T' designator on the high school transcript. To request transcription, follow these steps:

  1. Apply for admission to Green River College and activate your account in ctcLink upon admission.
  2. Request an official high school transcript to be sent to Green River, Office of the Registrar.
  3. Complete the CTE Dual Credit Transcription Request Form and upload it to the Registrars Office at www.greenriver.edu/upload. Allow two weeks for processing.
  4. Check your preferred email address for confirmation of transcription and to see how credits were applied.

Note: CTE Dual Credit courses are intended to apply toward a career training program at Green River College and are not necessarily transferrable to universities. Articulated courses can apply to the following degrees and certificates at Green River College:

  • Accounting
  • Automotive Technology
  • Aviation Technology (these courses require a 3.0 minimum grade)
  • Business Applications Specialist
  • Business Management
  • Carpentry Technology
  • Criminal Justice
  • Data Analytics and Software Development
  • Early Childhood Education
