If you previously applied to Green River but did not earn credit, or if you were part of the English Language Learners or Continuing Education programs, please follow the steps for new students.
APPLY FOR ADMISSION
Part 1: Application and OrientationIf you have earned credit at Green River, and have taken a break from your studies: Under "I will be enrolling as a" select Reapplying At the bottom of the page click Activate Your Account
Even if you recently attended Green River or another college or university, online orientation will provide you with the most up to date information on processes and resources to help you be successful at Green River. |
Part 2: Transfer Your CreditsIf you have earned credit at other colleges or universities and would like to use those credits at Green River, you must request official transcripts from those institutions. Official transcripts should be sent to: Office of the Registrar Please complete and submit a Transcript Evaluation Request form to the Office of the Registrar through our Secure Document Upload tool. Results of your evaluation will be posted on your student account in approximately four weeks. |

Part 2: Reestablish PlacementIf you completed classes at another college or university please submit official transcripts for evaluation. If it has been more than two years since initial placement was determined, and you did not receive credit for English and/or math classes, you may need to reestablish course eligibility. Unofficial copies of transcripts and placement documentation can be used to establish placement. Please submit documents through our Secure Document Upload tool. Please schedule a "Getting Started for students with transcripts/credits from other colleges" appointment at the Career and Advising Center. It is helpful to have your previously earned credits officially evaluated through the Office of the Registrar, as detailed in part 2, prior to seeing an advisor, however we can use unofficial transcripts to make a first quarter plan while we wait for official evaluation to be completed. We may also be able to determine placement from unofficial transcripts that include English and/or math courses. |
