Performing Arts

Green River College has a vibrant Performing Arts program that includes the areas of Music, Drama, and Dance. Students can undertake studies in a variety of subjects related to the history, theory, and practice of performing arts. Our courses are part of the Associates in Arts (A.A.) Degree and meet distribution for Humanities/Fine Arts/English.

The coursework in performing arts has both a global and local focus with several of our courses meeting the Global Diversity requirement.

RLC 146 Recording Studio

The recording studio in RLC146 was created in 2019 with the goal of all students on campus to have access to a professional recording space dedicated to music. Students in the computer music sequence have automatic access to this space, and all other students, staff, and faculty at GRC can request access by contacting Dr. Sam Krahn at SKrahn@greenriver.edu
