Alan is the IT Cybersecurity and Networking Program Director at GRC. He has been teaching information technology courses and mentoring students for nineteen years. Before he joined GRC, Alan spent fifteen years teaching Microsoft, Novell, and custom designed courses throughout the United States and working for regional and national resellers where he installed and supported complex networks. Alan's certifications include Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+.
Alan is the author of several bestselling technical books, including Windows NT 4.0 MCSE Study Guide (IDG Books Worldwide, 1998) and Windows 2000 MCSE Study System (IDG Books Worldwide, 2000).
