SUSI 2016
Nasiba organized a three-day seminar called "Learn More and Teach Others" for 25 female students at her university. During the seminar, participants learned leadership skills such as public speaking, listening and debating. In addition, they explored themes related to Women's rights in their local community such as equality, freedom and opportunities for girls to attend university. Nasiba also presented on her SUSI volunteer experiences in the United States, and shared what she learned about the qualities of effective servant-leaders. As a result of the program, participants gained practical skills in public speaking and critical thinking, and the majority of them were inspired to join the Volunteer center at their University. Nasiba believes each participant "will be a good example (for) other girls…they can be great change makers and they will contribute to the development of our community."
