About 400 students and community members attended the 2018 Career Fair, which featured 30 employers, from well-known tech industries to local startups, representing diverse industries in the Greater Seattle area.

Rebecca Williamson, interim vice president of instruction, was recently awarded the prestigious Aspen Presidential Fellowship for Community College Excellence, a leadership program aimed at preparing the next generation of community college presidents to transform institutions across the nation to help students be more successful both in college and in the workforce.

Green River College will offer free workshops and lectures, as well as a for-credit course, at the Covington Library (27100 164th Ave SE, Covington, WA 98042) this spring. The workshops and lectures are free and open to the public. No RSVP or library membership is required to attend.
