Green River College receives $400k grant to strengthen employer partnerships and connect students with opportunity

Green River College was recently awarded a $400,000 grant through the Strada Education Network Employer and Community College Partnership Challenge. The grant is part of an effort to support innovative collaborations across the country between community colleges and employers. Green River will also participate in opportunities to share insights and learn from other community colleges and employers, through a community of practice.

Covid higher education proclamation to expire Oct. 31, 2022 / Message from the President

Governor Inslee announced last month that the State of Washington will be ending its remaining COVID-19 emergency orders and state of emergency by Oct. 31. Green River College has reviewed the state’s guidance and will be making the following changes to the College’s current COVID-19 protocols, effective Nov. 1, 2022:

Green River College's College Relations team recently received top honors from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) - District 7 Medallion Awards competition. This annual competition is exclusive to, and judged by, marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.
