11th Grade English

ENGL& 101

12th Grade English

If new to Running Start, you must take ENGL& 101. Otherwise any 5 credit English class above ENGL& 101

Math MATH& 107 or above
Washington State History HIST &214
U.S. History HIST &136 or &137
Civics POLS &202
Social Studies Elective Courses which meet Green River’s ‘Social Sciences’ requirement as outlined on the
Associate in Arts - DTA, with the exception of Business classes.
Lab Science Any course 100-level or above with lab component. Examples include: BIOL, CHEM, PHYS, GEOL, etc.
Science Any 100 level and above without lab component
Physical Education Any 100 level and above that is activity or fitness based
CTE Please check with your high school counselor
Fine Arts Any class 100 or above in the following: ART, MUSC, DANCE, DRMA, FILM, PHOTO
Health NUTR& 101
World Langauge Any 100 level or above
Elective Anything 100 level or above

Please note: Common Course Numbers (CCN) are designated with the “&” symbol. 5 college credits = 1 HS credit; 3 college credits = 0.6 HS credit; 2 college credits = 0.4 HS credit; 1 college credit = 0.2 HS credit. Minimum Green River College grade to earn credit for high school is 1.0.

Courses meeting high school graduation requirements may not meet University Entrance Requirements. See College Academic Distribution Requirements for minimum entrance requirements.

A single course may not be used to satisfy a credit requirement for more than one subject.
