GRC Launches new online student dashboard, My Green River

By Philip Denman, January 2, 2020

Green River College has launched a new student dashboard, My Green River, in time for the Winter 2020 quarter.

The online resource aims to offer students a landing page for vital information and resources and can be accessed via the “Quick Links” menu found at the top of each page on greenriver.edu.

“While students have accessed most of their information online for some time now, they use to have to access each tool independently,” David Larsen, Dean of Enrollment and Completion, said. “That all changes with My Green River, now students can login once and find everything they need within reach.”

Students will now be able to complete the following tasks from one dashboard using their standard GRC login information:

  • Register for classes and check class schedule
  • Check grades and review transcripts
  • Review tuition and fee balances and due dates
  • Review and update contact information
  • Find their advisor and faculty contact information
  • Verify their program of study
  • Review important upcoming dates and deadlines

My Green River is also where students will access important tools and resources throughout their time at GRC, such as:

  • Microsoft Outlook, OneNote and OneDrive
  • Canvas
  • Degree Audit
  • Class Finder
  • Educational Planner
  • Financial Aid Portal
  • Scholarship Applications

During the beta, students, faculty and staff tested the features and user interface prior to its full launch on Jan. 2, 2020.
