Prerequisites

The PTA program starts once a year in the fall. This is a full-time program. Classes take place any time between 7a.m. and 5p.m., and takes two years to complete. During the last quarter of the curriculum, students will be placed in full-time clinical rotations for 40 hours a week.

  • AP 103 - Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 : Credits 5* and
  • AP 104 - Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 : Credits 5

OR

  • BIOL& 241 - Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 : Credits 5 and
  • BIOL& 242 - Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 : Credits 5

Related Instruction Requirements

Satisfies related instruction requirements

Written Communication

  • ENGL&101 - English Composition 1 : Credits 5

Oral Communication

Any 5 credits of communication studies (CMST/CMST&)

Computation

  • Math - Any college-level math class 100 or higher : Credits 5
