Bio
My name is Rana AL Mozani; I was born in Iraq and came to the United States with my
family. I have lived in Kent for more than ten years. I have an IT and Administrative
Management BAS Degree, including a Data Analytes minor from Central Washington University.
In the past, I worked with different community colleges and have more than seven years
of work at college. I met many people with different cultures, traditions, colors,
races, etc. Having them in my life is great because I learned many things from them.
Also, I worked with ESL students and supported them in starting their first step in
college. During my education and work experience, the best thing in a college environment
is providing an equal-opportunity climate that fosters respect and communication across
gender, racial, or other cultural communities. I have been involved with some programs
and events that support diversity.
