Study Skills Resources

Welcome to the Math Study Skills resource page!

Research shows that at least 25% of your success in a math course depends on your math study skills and self-motivation.

The following resources have been shared because we know that math courses are different from other college courses.  You need a different set of study skills to be successful in a math course. Below you will find free resources available for you to utilize. Copies of Paul Nolting's “Winning at Math – Your Guide to Learning Mathematics Through Successful Study Skills” are also available at the Math Learning Center.

Please complete the Math Study Skills Evaluation below to determine the skills that you possess and skills that you need to improve. To access the Math Study Skills Evaluation, you will need to enter your Student ID number.  You will then be prompted for a username and password.  Please use the following:  Username:  msse   Password: seventh
