Green River College strives to give you the tools and information you need to be a successful student. Below are information sessions and workshops offered at Green River to help you with getting started processes, program information, and funding your college education. Please read the brief description for each and sign up for the next information session.

Running Start

Are you interested in the Running Start program? Come to a Running Start information session to learn:

  • What the Running Start program offers high schoolers
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Benefits and challenges of the program
  • Student responsibilities once in the program
  • Cost of Running Start
  • Timelines for entering the program
  • Steps to get started

Note: This is not a registration session; there is a mandatory orientation after admission to the program.

Campus Tour

The Welcome Desk offers group and individual tours for potential students during fall, winter, and spring quarters. All tours begin at the desk and take approximately 45 minute.

Through its four grants -- Worker Retraining, Basic Food and Employment Training, WorkFirst and Opportunity Grant -- The Workforce Education Department funds the training of individuals pursuing degrees and certificates in Professional and Technical programs. The Workforce Education grants pay for tuition, books, and fees.

BAS in Marketing & Entrepreneurship

In the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Marketing & Entrepreneurship program you will learn through project-based learning the valuable skills needed to succeed as a marketing professional or entrepreneur. The course content will cover the following topics and much more:

Nursing Assistant Program

At the Nursing Assistant information session, students learn:

Water/Wastewater Technology

We are glad you are interested in the Water/Wastewater Technology program at Green River College. The purpose of this program is to train future drinking water and wastewater operators who are significantly responsible to assure public health and environmental protection.
