The Green Bridge is Working Great
Green River students outside Technology Center.
In the last ten years, Green River international students have been admitted to 21 of the top 50 universities in the world, and 32 of the top 50 US universities. Every year, our students get into universities like UC Berkeley, Washington, UCLA, Illinois, Texas…the list is a long one. How do our students do it?
Green River has established a "2+2" bridge program to top US universities that is second to none. Students take their first two years of a bachelor's degree at Green River, earn good grades, and transfer to top universities to complete their degrees in an additional two years. If they didn't finish high school back home, they also earn a Washington State high school diploma. Green River's system has worked for over 25 years, and continues to get better. Twenty universities now offer conditional guaranteed admission to our students, including three of the top 50 world universities. Over 100 universities come to Green River twice a year to recruit our students, including schools like UC Berkeley, San Diego, Irvine, Santa Barbara and Davis, Ohio State, Rutgers, Arizona State, Johns Hopkins and many others.
While admission to Green River is fast and easy, our program is not for everyone. Lazy students who hate to work should not come. This is also not a good place for students who give up easily. Living in a foreign country can be hard, especially at first. For students who are willing to work hard and adjust to living in a new country, however, Green River is a great bridge to some of the finest universities in the world.
