Assessment/Placement Testing

English Placement Test:

For students who have not taken the TOEFL test or for those who scored under 61/500/173. Students receive the results and their registration the following day.

COMPASS/Academic Placement Test (Reading, Writing and Math):

For students who have met the English Proficiency Requirements for direct admission into academic programs. COMPASS is a computer-based assessment of reading, writing and math. There is no time limit. Results are available immediately after completing the assessment. Students have an individual appointment with their advisor to review the placement results and register for appropriate academic classes.
