Got Workshop Ideas?
Send them our way. If you are faculty, contact Julie Moore.
The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) is committed to providing professional development opportunities for all employees, including classified and exempt staff. The TLC will offer two main types of faculty professional development opportunities, and all scheduled sessions are open to full-time and adjunct instructors.
- What Works Forum: These will be hour long, informal sessions, in which participants dialogue about their teaching with their colleagues. The focus of these sessions will vary from specific topics, such as student groups or writing exams to discussions of our current classes.
- Workshops: Workshops will be more formal sessions that are facilitated by different faculty members on campus. These will focus on specific topics that will help faculty in the classroom. Julie Moore will coordinate these.
